Privacy Policy
Effective June 21, 2026 · LaunchSurface
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how LaunchSurface ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Operator platform and related websites and services (the "Service"). It applies to people who visit our marketing site, create an account, or subscribe to the Service ("you").
LaunchSurface is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide • Account details: your name, email address, and login credentials. • Venture inputs: the company URL, product descriptions, and other content you submit for analysis. • Targeting and configuration: the Operating Contract, targeting preferences, and instructions you give the Operator. • Communications: messages you send us through support, email, or in-app channels, including any attachments.
Information collected automatically • Usage and telemetry: pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and execution logs. • Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical metadata. • Cookies and similar technologies: see "Cookies and Tracking" below.
Information from third parties • Payment status and metadata from our payment processor (we do not receive or store full card numbers). • Connected-mailbox metadata when you authorize an email account for outreach (we request the minimum scope needed to send and read replies to messages the Service sends on your behalf). • Business and contact information about prospects, sourced from public sources and third-party data providers, processed to operate the Service for you.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service. • Run the autonomous execution cycles you configure, including research, outreach, and reporting. • Process subscriptions and prepaid wallet charges. • Communicate with you about your account, security, billing, and updates. • Monitor, debug, secure, and improve the Service. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms. • Comply with legal obligations.
We may create aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and use it for any lawful purpose, including improving our systems.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as described here:
• Service providers: We use trusted vendors to operate the Service, by category: payment processing, cloud infrastructure and hosting, email delivery, AI and automation processing, data enrichment, and product analytics. These providers may process information only on our instructions and to provide their service to us. • At your direction: When the Service acts on your behalf (for example, sending outreach from a mailbox you connect), information is shared as needed to carry out that action. • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LaunchSurface, our users, or the public. • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
The identities of our underlying data and infrastructure providers are confidential. We disclose them by category above rather than by name.
5. Data You Process Through the Service
When you use the Service to research prospects, send outreach, or track visitors to your pages, you may process personal information about other people (for example, prospects and your website visitors).
For that information, you are the controller and we act on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it, for honoring opt-outs and unsubscribe requests, and for maintaining your own privacy notices and complying with marketing, anti-spam, and data-protection laws applicable to you and your contacts.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
The Service also offers optional analytics and visitor-tracking features that you, as a customer, may enable on your own pages. If you enable those features, you are responsible for disclosing them to your visitors as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We also retain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain business records.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Backups and logs may persist for a limited additional period.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped credentials for connected accounts.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Your Choices and Rights
• Access and correction: You can review and update your account information in the Service or by contacting us. • Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing us, subject to information we must retain by law. • Communications: You can opt out of non-essential emails. We will still send transactional and account messages. • Cookies: You can manage cookies through your browser.
Residents of some U.S. states may have additional rights regarding their personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
