    Setting your budget

    3 min read

Top up the wallet and set caps so the operator runs within your limits.

    How the prepaid wallet works

Your spend lives in a prepaid wallet. The operator draws from that balance as it does work, so you are always paying out of a pool you funded in advance rather than running up a surprise bill at the end of the month.

Because the balance is visible, you always know what is left and roughly how much runway you have before you need to top up again.

    Topping up

When the balance runs low, you add funds to the wallet to keep the work going. You decide how much to add and when, which makes it easy to match spend to the pace you actually want.

    Setting caps

Caps are guardrails. They let you set an upper limit so the operator stays within the budget you are comfortable with, even when there is more money in the wallet than you want spent quickly.

Your monthly plan also includes a credit toward usage, which covers a baseline of activity before the wallet starts drawing down. That credit applies automatically.

    2. [02]Add funds to top up the wallet to your preferred level.
    3. [03]Set a cap that reflects how much you want spent in a given period.
    4. [04]Save, and the operator will run within those limits.

What happens when the wallet is empty

If the balance reaches zero, the operator pauses gracefully rather than failing in the middle of work. Nothing is lost. Once you top up again, it picks back up where it left off, so an empty wallet is a pause, not a reset.

Point the operator at your market and watch it run.
